A new rear seat entertainment system is now available for the new Volvo XC90, so rear passengers can watch DVD movies, plug-in games consoles or a camcorder.
With perfect timing the system, which can be specified for new XC90 orders or retro-fitted, will be available for the summer holidays, and comes complete with the following features:
Both screens are ultra high resolution with colour coded, soft touch surround incorporating the latest generation of widescreen technology and include a vertical swivel action to ensure that each screen has the best viewing angle whatever the position of the front seats.
In addition, to give rear passengers as many entertainment options as possible, the screens can be selected independently to play a DVD on one and a computer game or camcorder film on the other.
The system can also be used to play CDs through the headphones independently of what’s being played through the XC90 audio unit.
If that’s not enough, the XC90 also offers sockets for rear passengers to simultaneously listen to the car’s radio, CD or Mini-Disc (if fitted).
A single screen, roof mounted, single disc Rear Seat Entertainment system will also be launched in October with an expected fitted price of £2000.*
*fitted price is at participating dealers only
