The new registration plate arrived on September 1, Volkswagen is pleased to announce special offers on a number of its key models.
Zero Per Cent Finance On PassatVolkswagen Finance is offering Passat customers a finance deal of low deposit and zero per cent interest over three years through the Volkswagen retail network.
The package is available to all retail customers who purchase a Passat Saloon or Estate which is registered between September 1 and December 31 2003. The offer is zero per cent finance with a 30 per cent deposit, and repayments spread over a period of up to three years. For example, on the entry-level Passat Saloon S 2.0 130 PS which has an ‘on the road’ price of £14,900, customers would pay a £4,470.08 deposit followed by 36 monthly instalments of £289.72 (APR 0%).
All Passat models – five petrol and three diesel engines – are available under the offer. These range from the 2.0 130 PS petrol to the flagship 275 PS W8 with 4MOTION four-wheel drive; and include Volkswagen’s award-winning diesel variants, the 100 PS and 130 PS TDIs and the 2.5-litre 163 PS V6 TDI.
Golf Match Prices LoweredVolkswagen is also pleased to announce extra value on its Match models, with prices starting at just £10,995 ‘on the road’ at participating retailers from now until September 30 2003.
This represents a saving of over £1,000 on the already competitive price of the 1.4-litre three-door Match. There is also a saving of £705 against all other Match models: the 1.4-litre five-door, the 1.6-litre five-door in manual or automatic guise and the five-door TDI with 100 PS.
The Match was launched in January this year, when it replaced the Golf S model. Compared with the S, the Match added a CD player; 15" ‘Avus’ alloy wheels; remote central locking with an alarm; and a multi-function computer. These features come in addition to the Golf’s already generous specification which includes ABS, ESP (Electronic Stabilisation Programme), air conditioning, twin front and side airbags and a three year warranty.
Polo Value With A TwistLaunched in July this year, the Polo Twist continues to offer customers excellent value for money. With prices starting from £8,995 ‘on the road’, the Twist offers a price saving of over £545 compared with the equivalent-engined Polo S model.
It features distinctive 14" ‘Sao Paulo’ alloy wheels and a choice of metallic or pearl effect paint as standard. This is in addition to the comprehensive list of Polo S standard features, such as semi-automatic climate control; electric front windows; ABS; driver’s and front passenger’s airbags with front seat side airbags; central locking; and electrically heated and adjustable door mirrors. A chrome ‘Twist’ badge on the tailgate further distinguishes the new model.
A range of four engines is available for the Polo Twist: a 1.2-litre 65 PS and 1.4-litre 75 PS petrol units, and 1.9-litre SDI 64 PS and 1.4-litre TDI 75 PS diesels. All engines have five-speed manual gearboxes as standard, while the 1.4-litre petrol engine is also available with four-speed automatic transmission.
The Twist will remain on sale until the end of the year.
Lupo Prices Start From £6,995For a limited time at participating retailers, Volkswagen’s smallest car, the Lupo, is available from £6,995. This competitive entry-level price represents a £550 reduction on the 1.0-litre E model’s usual price of £7,545.
But despite its small size and low price, the Lupo features, among its key items of standard specification, twin airbags, an immobiliser, power steering and height adjustable steering wheel.
In addition, like all Volkswagens, it also offers high quality, as well as the peace of mind that comes with a three year warranty.
