Volkswagen is turning up the heat this summer with a number of sizzling product offers across the range. Lupo, Polo, Golf, Bora, New Beetle, Passat and Sharan are all included, so whatever you’re looking for, there really has never been a better time to visit a Volkswagen showroom.
LupoAll Lupo prices are reduced by £1,000 from now until 30 September 2004. This means prices for Volkswagen’s supermini start at just £6,790 RRP* on the road for the entry-level 1.0-litre E model; while the range-topping GTI with its 1.6-litre 125 PS engine and six-speed gearbox costs just £12,455*.
PoloThe Polo Twist continues into the summer as one of the most popular models in the Polo range, thanks to its excellent value for money and high equipment levels. In addition to the standard Polo equipment list which features ABS and driver and front passenger front and side airbags, the Twist adds ‘Climatic’ semi-automatic climate control, 14" ‘Sao Paulo’ alloy wheels with anti-theft wheel bolts, front electric windows and metallic or pearl effect paint. From now until 30 September, prices for the Twist start at £8,995 RRP* on the road for the 1.2-litre with 65 PS and rise to £10,495*. The Twist is available with three or five doors and with a choice of two petrol and two diesel engines.
GolfTo combat the hot weather, the award-winning Golf will benefit from now until the end of the year from free ‘Climatic’ semi-automatic climate control on S models. Currently a £495 option, this enhancement will mean prices for the fifth-generation of Volkswagen’s best-seller will start from £11,995 RRP* for the S 1.4-litre 75 PS with three doors. This comes on top of the current What Car? Car of the Year’s already comprehensive equipment list which includes ABS; driver and front passenger front and side airbags plus a curtain airbag system; ESP (Electronic Stabilisation Programme); and a CD player.
