Local Dealers Have The Solution To Affordable Volkswagens

If you’ve ever wanted to own a Volkswagen but found the cost just out of your reach, a group of motor retailers in the Milton Keynes, Towcester, Stevenage and St Albans area has come up with the solution.

Under a new financial package called New Solutions supplied by Volkswagen Financial Services, you can choose a brand new Volkswagen to exactly suit your monthly budget.

So if you’ve got around £270 a month to spare for the next three years an exciting Volkswagen Golf 16 valve 1.6S, top speed of 112mph, can be yours for the asking – following an initial down payment of £1499.

Too rich for you? Then try the Volkswagen Polo three door 1.2E, with a top speed of 97mph, which will cost £156 per month - after a first payment of £999 - over the next three and a half years.

These are just two examples of the prices that can be available under the New Solutions Personal Contract Plan.

At the end of the contract period you either pay the final payment and the car is yours, but if you don’t, you can switch contracts to another brand new Volkswagen, or you can simply walk away.

With the Polo example above a final payment of £2,711 will secure you the car, and if you pay £5,370 the Golf 16v 1.6S will be yours. But if that sounds like too much money for your pocket, hand the keys back to the salesman and move on to your next car.

It’s all part of the total flexibility that Volkswagen Financial Services has built into its New Solutions finance package, and one which the local Wayside Group of retailers – based in Milton Keynes, Towcester, St Albans and Stevenage – has found to be extremely popular.

‘At last we have a finance product that reflects the quality of the vehicle,’ said Jason Lee, Retail Sales Manager at the Milton Keynes Volkswagen retail outlet. ‘For us the launch of a finance product like New Solutions is as important as a new car launch – without a good finance product, you can’t sell the car.

‘It is very important that we have total flexibility in offering customers the finance package that suits their needs, and with New Solutions we can now tailor the finance package around the customer, rather than the customer having to try and package themselves around the finance package.

‘We can supply a brand new Polo for £150 a month – and not many will believe that,’ he said.

Andrew Roberts, Business Manager at Wayside Milton Keynes, agrees. ‘We are promoting New Solutions with the strapline ‘flexible and affordable’.

‘Some people might perceive that a Volkswagen is outside their budget, but with New Solutions we can now show them that it’s not.’
