It was a case of first time lucky for Paula Harris who entered the recent GMTV competition in conjunction with the Camping and Caravanning Club to win a Volkswagen California. She is now the proud owner of her dream campervan and is already busy planning a new lifestyle starting with long weekends away touring Cornwall and South Wales.
Collecting her prize after a thorough tour of all the Volkswagen California's features and home comforts at Heritage Volkswagen Van Centre in Bristol, Paula said: "The California is absolutely fantastic and I still can't believe I've won it. I'd never entered a competition before but when I saw this prize, I couldn't resist. I completely forgot about it until I got a call from GMTV a few weeks later. I couldn't believe it. I nearly dropped my phone and just started screaming!
"I can't wait to get away in the California. I did some camping when I was younger so it'll be fantastic to be able to re-live some childhood memories," she continued.
The Volkswagen California is unique as it is actually built by Volkswagen to the same high quality as its other models and comes with the same comprehensive three-year warranty.
