Andy Lawlor, Volkswagen Group's Paint and Body Business Manager has left his role of six years, in order to take up an overseas assignment. Michael Embleton will take over following a secondment as the Learning & Development Manager for Commercial Training in Volkswagen Group.
Michael has worked in the Volkswagen Group for 16 years, initially for Audi in sales and product marketing and in the Group aftersales division in planning and training. He can boast some 25 years of experience in all sectors of the automotive industry.
Michael said: "I am really looking forward to joining the Paint and Body team. Under Andy’s leadership this area of our business has seen considerable success. The new vehicle insurance ratings have received numerous industry awards and our approved Paint and Body Centre Network is delivering excellent customer satisfaction."
