More than two million owners of Vauxhalls between four and 10 years old can now take advantage of a unique service and MOT offer to provide them with the peace of mind that their car will not let them down this winter.
Available from Vauxhall Retailers and MasterFit Centres throughout the UK from just £99 (example Astra F models), the package includes a comprehensive service and MOT test, plus the bonus of free AA Roadside Assistance Cover for the next 12 months.
For many lower mileage motorists, a thorough service can often help to ensure that the car sails through its annual MOT test. And with winter rapidly approaching, there is never a better time to give the car a clean bill of health, and enjoy the comfort that comes with AA breakdown cover.
The service includes an oil change, fitting new spark plugs, oil, air and fuel filters, replenishing the screenwash and the usual checking procedures specified in the manufacturer's service schedule.
Whether you choose a Vauxhall Retailer or MasterFit Centre, every facet of this comprehensive service will be carried out by Vauxhall-trained technicians using genuine original equipment quality replacement parts. At MasterFit Centres, this can be arranged while you wait.
Once the service is completed, the car will be put through the MOT test. A new certificate is then issued and the owner is registered by the Vauxhall Retailer for the free AA breakdown cover.
"It is a well-proven fact that regular, or at least once a year servicing, can provide owners of older cars with many years of trouble-free motoring," says Vauxhall aftersales marketing manager Nigel Griggs.
"Our current offer is unique in the industry and represents outstanding value for money. We hope that many of the two million owners of Vauxhall cars in the UK between four and 10 years old take advantage of this opportunity and the comfort that comes with free breakdown cover."
