Vauxhall car, MPV and 4x4 owners planning continental motoring holidays can take advantage of a special link-up between the car manufacturer and P&O offering 20 per cent off selected ferry crossings this summer.

The offer applies to P&O North Sea Ferries and P&O Portsmouth routes and is available to anyone spending more than £50 on any item from the wide range of Vauxhall towing and touring equipment before the end of August this year.

New car buyers preparing to hitch up their ‘02’ models can choose from a basic fixed ball tow bar priced from £195 depending on model, including fitting and single electrics, a flange ball tow bar from £215 or a detachable tow ball coupling from £310 including fitting and electrics.

For touring holidays there is a roof carrier system suitable for just about every conceivable type of lifestyle activity, specifically designed to fit all models in the Vauxhall range. From a roof-mounted boat carrier or surfboard/windsurf carrier at £40 to a side loading bicycle carrier at £131 and a roof traveller box at £280, Vauxhall touring accessories allow owners to fix everything securely.

Nor are those vital aids to safer summer motoring overlooked. Fire extinguishers, luggage restraining straps, first aid kits, spare bulb kits and warning triangles, Vauxhall’s 2002 Accessory Collection leaves nothing to chance.
