Like its cousins the Peugeot 107 and Citroen C1, the Toyota Aygo has been given a cosmetic makeover for 2012.
Tweaks include the option of LED daytime running lights incoroporated into the new style bumper and interior upgrades to materials and finishes.
Toyota have managed to lower CO2 emissions for the 5-speed manual petrol powered Aygo to under 100 g/km which means -0 Car Tax (VED) and exemption from the London Congestion Charge. Toyota are provisionally quoting 65.7mpg on the combined fuel cycle. For versions fitted with Multimode, emissions are down from 106 to 104g/km and fuel economy rises from 61.4 to 63.8mpg
The enhanced Toyota Aygo will go on sale in March 2012, with full specifications and prices to be announced.
