Toyota is adding a new entry-level Toyota Auris range for the 2011 model year, with extra equipment at the same price.
The Toyota Auris Edition replaces the previous T2, and is available in three and five door options and improved specification. TR and SR grades have also seen revisions offering additional premium features as standard. New look interior trim details and new exterior colours are also introduced.Toyota Auris Edition
The new entry point Toyota Auris Edition is the new grade for 2011 and takes over from the previous T2 model, providing 16 inch alloy wheels, heated and retractable door mirrors which are, along with door handles, colour matched to the bodywork.
Already established features remain, including air conditioning and a four-speaker sound system with USB port. A new metallic paint option for Edition models, named Island Blue, and new customer specified options include Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) with Traction Control (TRC) and a Protection Pack for the five-door version (floor mats, mudflaps, boot liner and scuff plates).
The Toyota Optimal Drive 1.33-litre VVT-i petrol engine, with Stop & Start and six speed manual transmission is available for both the three and five door Toyota Auris Edition model. Fuel consumption features are 48.7mpg combined cycle and 135g/km CO2 emissions.Toyota Auris TR
The Toyota Auris TR is the core model in the range, and is newly equipped with rear parking sensors, Bluetooth with voice control and cruise control (available on the 1.6 Valvematic). The 1.4 D-4D and 1.6 Valvematic versions feature analogue meters and a new sportier trim in dark grey with silver detailing has been introduced.
The outside sees new five spoke 16 inch alloy wheels and a new metallic colour choice - Deep Titanium.

Offered only as a five-door with the 1.6 Valvematic engine and six speed manual transmission the Toyota Auris SR now features cruise control and Bluetooth as standard plus the new Deep Titanium metallic paint option.
Also included are 17 inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, dark tinted rear privacy glass and darkened headlamp lenses.
