New Jimny Soft Top
Smart and tough ... in or out of town

The all new Soft Top version of Suzuki's attractive, stylish and award winning Jimny 1.3 JLX has added a fresh new dimension to the Suzuki 4x4 range and has - yet again - reinforced the Company's position and reputation as a leader in the provision of unique, innovative sports utility vehicles that are great fun to drive and complement and enhance their ownersí lifestyles.

The young - and anyone young at heart - will enjoy the many features of this exciting new Soft Top 4x4 and - because it is by far and away the cheapest true convertible currently available - it brings the fun, enjoyment and lifestyle benefits of top down motoring within the reach of a very wide cross-section of UK motorists.

A 16-valve, 1.3-litre engine, provides spirited performance, reliability and dependability and willingly takes the driver and passengers wherever they want to go thanks to the separate chassis, all-round coil suspension and impressive approach and departure angles of 42 and 46 degree's respectively.

And because of its compact exterior dimensions, responsive power steering, excellent manoeuvrability and thanks to a turning circle of just 9.8m the Jimny is also perfect for in town use, where it can be driven and parked with absolute ease.

The Jimny Soft Top's distinctive styling - just like its Estate Car cousin - makes certain it stands out from the crowd. Sitting firmly on the ground, its wide stance gives it a presence well beyond its compact dimensions and a neat, modern, purposeful look which is enhanced by curving body panels, a distinctive grille, large multi-reflector halogen headlamps and colour coded side protective mouldings and bumpers.

Manufactured from high-tensile galvanised steel and with its design determined by intensive computer analysis, the body is mounted on the separate chassis, providing strength, lightness and superior rigidity.

Even with the hood up all-round visibility is excellent thanks to the high and commanding driving position, extensive glass areas, large electrically operated door mirrors and spare wheel mounted low on the rear door.
