Two New Models Further Reinforce Suzuki's Extensive 4x4 Range

Suzuki Grand Vitara

Two new models, the Special Edition Jimny O2 Soft Top and the high specification 5-seat Grand Vitara XL-7 are announced today [5 April, 2002]. Together they further reinforce the refreshing and extensive choice of exciting, stylish and well equipped 4x4 models available from all UK Suzuki dealers.

The Jimny O2 Soft Top

The youthful, fashionable looks of the unique and particularly well equipped Jimny 4x4 Soft Top are further enhanced on the new Jimny O2 Special Edition by alloy wheels, front fog lamps, special 2-tone metallic paint finish and distinctive badging. On the inside a radio/CD player is added for the additional enjoyment of the driver and passengers. Even with the inclusion of this additional equipment - and in line with Suzuki's policy of providing optimum value for money - at a maximum on the road price of £10,495* the Jimny O2 is exceptionally competitive.

The 5-seat Grand Vitara XL-7

Launched in the UK in August, 2001 the 7-seat Grand Vitara XL-7 has formidable off road abilities as well as all of the load carrying advantages of a large estate car and - with its third row of seats - the passenger carrying flexibility of an MPV.

Now the new XL-7 is available in a new configuration without the third row of seats to provide one of the largest load and luggage capacities in its class.

Even with the rear seats in their upright position this load space totals 900 litres [32 cu ft] whilst, with the rear seats folded flat, capacity increases to 1,687 litres [60 cu ft]. For security, a removable 'roller blind' type luggage cover for use when the rear seats are in their upright position, is standard.

With maximum on the road* prices of £18,995 for the 5-speed manual model and £19,945 for the 4-speed automatic the 5-seat XL-7 also emphasises Suzuki's commitment to offer exceptional value for money.
