Ignis 5-Door

Suzuki - the leading manufacturer of compact and lightweight class cars in Japan for the past 27 years - launched its all-new "Multi Compact" 1.3 litre Ignis supermini range at the British International Motor Show in October, 2000 and it is now on sale at all 145 UK Suzuki Dealerships.

Incorporating many of the design ideas that have made Suzuki a dominant force in the small and city car sectors in its home market and the worldís most respected mini car maker, the Ignis - with its name derived from the Latin for fire - offers big car levels of driver comfort, space and interior flexibility in a remarkably compact frame to provide it with a multitude of competitive advantages.

High equipment levels across the range, along with state-of-the-art safety features combine to make Ignis a force to be reckoned with in the competitive and fast expanding small car sector.

Prices* for the Ignis range from £6,940 for the entry-level 3-door GA and £7,940 for the 3-door GL, rising to £8,695 for the range topping five-door GL.

Thanks to a striking and modern exterior design that provides the car with a confident and purposeful appearance, an all-new 1.3-litre, DOHC 16 valve engine and Suzukis pioneering use of interior space, the Ignis is a compact yet extremely practical small car as much at home around town as it is on the open road or motorway.

Available in three and five door body styles and with the added choice on the three-door of two trim levels, the Ignis offers a wide choice for customers who want a comfortable, value for money car thatís immensely versatile and practical.

* Prices are "on the road" and include delivery, first registration fee and 12 months Government road fund licence

Like all Suzuki vehicles Ignis is built to the highest engineering standards and comes with the additional confidence provided by the provision of a fully comprehensive three year / 60,000 mile warranty. In addition a 12 year anti-perforation [corrosion] warranty and three years roadside assistance is also standard.
