Suzuki is pleased to announce the first winner of its #giveanscross competition which ran throughout March 2014 as part of Suzuki’s “Good Neighbour” integrated media campaign. Entrants were not eligible to win a car themselves but could nominate a friend or relative they thought really deserved to be given an S-Cross via Facebook or Twitter.
The first winner, a very surprised Phillip and Sue Southward collected their new S-Cross SZ4 from Suzuki’s RRG Dealership in Stockport; their nomination was posted by family friend Jane Bush who said: “They really deserve to win a new car as Sue teaches disabled children and in addition to having two sons of their own they are also long term Fosterers.”
“Financially I know they have struggled over the years as Phil had to give up his job over 12 years ago as a result of contracting M.E. Their old family car was well over due for replacement and this will make a big difference to a lovely family.”
The competition has had more than 36,000 entries on Facebook and 6,500 on Twitter. All five winners were announced during March and are being selected by an independent adjudicator.
