A new low emissions 1.3 litre DDiS Suzuki Swift will be available from 1st June 2011, with a 75PS 1.3 litre diesel engine, 109g/km CO2 emissions and a fuel consumption figure of 67.3mpg - allowing for an estimated 500 mile range.

Priced at £12,980 as a five door model SZ3 grade, features include air conditioning, electric heated door mirrors, 16 inch alloy wheels, USB port and seven airbags as standard.

The turbo charged engine offers maximum torque of 190Nm from 1750rpm and a 0-62mph in 12.7 seconds. Compared to the 1.3 litre diesel engine used in the previous Suzuki Swift, fuel consumption is eight per cent better and tailpipe emissions are nine per cent lower. VED charges are £20 for the new Suzuki Swift DDis, due to emissions of 109g/km.
