The Suzuki Jimny has undergone some revisions for MY-2015, with the entry level SZ3 model starting at £12,195 on the road. The SZ4 model is available from £13,645 with manual transmission or £14,545 with automatic transmission.
There have been some low key exterior and interior revisions to the Jimny; there is a new seat fabric for the SZ3 spec plus the introduction of TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System), GSI (Gear Shift Indicator) and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) across the range as standard equipment.
The Jimny SZ4 features new 15” alloy wheels finished in dark silver, synthetic leather seats, air conditioning, leather trim steering wheel and rear privacy glass. You can also opt for two new metallic paints Steel Silver and Khaki Green (£399 extra) out of a five shade range, where the SZ3 has the choice of three metallic and one solid colour.
The Jimny remains powered by a 1.3-litre petrol engine outputting 85PS 0-62 mph takes 14.1 seconds with the five-speed manual gearbox or 17.2 seconds with the auto. The manual box according to NEDC figures is capable of 39.8 mpg with CO2 emissions of 162 g/km, where the auto records 38.7 mpg and 167 g/km.
