Suzuki - Still One Of The UK's Favourite Franchises

Suzuki dealers value holding the Suzuki franchise more highly than those within almost all other dealer networks according to an independent attitude survey of more than 1,200 manufacturer franchised outlets undertaken in January on behalf of The National Franchised Dealers Association.

Responding to a series of statements covering significant aspects of their business relationship with Suzuki GB the Suzuki network indicated that they are amongst the most satisfied of any, especially in terms of their overall relationships with the manufacturer, vehicle supply and pricing, marketing support, profitability, training programmes, and fairness in settling warranty claims.

According to the survey results only the Lexus, BMW and Mini networks value their franchises more highly.

Commenting on the results, David Seward, Sales and Marketing Director of Suzuki GB PLC said that they were impressive and resulted from the particularly close working relationship between the company and its dealer network.

"Across the past five years our strategy has been to focus on working with our dealers to improve all aspects of our operations, taking full account of our network’s needs and objectives, especially in connection with the development of all of the services and facilities we provide for them centrally and in the field.

"The close working relationships established with our network together with their enthusiasm for the Suzuki franchise have enabled us all to grow substantially with sales in 2004, at more than 37,000 units, setting yet another all time record.

"Satisfied dealers in turn mean satisfied customers and these are and remain key objectives for the future," David Seward says.
