Suzuki (GB) PLC is pleased to announce the appointment of Luscombe Suzuki to its dealer network, which is currently at 151 across the UK.
Headed up by Robin Luscombe; the dealership is now open for business and is situated in Hunslet, Leeds, close to Junction 4 of the M621, ideally situated for customers to view Suzuki's comprehensive range of stylish, fun to drive and inexpensive to own cars.
Luscombe brings a wealth of direct experience to the brand having previously worked and won numerous awards with Colin Appleyard Suzuki in a career spanning more than 25 years. Robin worked up through the ranks from parts apprentice to various other dealer roles and latterly held a senior director position with the company until mid 2009.
Robin comments: "In launching my own dealership I have realised a lifelong ambition and am determined to build long term customer relations and offer great customer service with the help of my compact, passionate and focused team."
Helping to drive showroom traffic into Luscombe Suzuki are Suzuki's popular zero per cent finance offers and low deposit PCPs available across numerous models which continue until the end of August 2010.
Two of the latest models from Suzuki are the limited edition Suzuki Alto SZ-L and Suzuki SX4 Aerio models, with just 500 being built of each car. The Suzuki Alto SZ-L is based on the best selling SZ3 model which includes air conditioning as standard and is recognised by its silver coloured interior trim finish, individual SZ-L exterior mouldings, front fog lamps and stylish wheel trim set.
The Suzuki SX4 Aerio offers an alternative urban look and more sporting appearance to the Suzuki SX4 SZ cross-over range; fitted with front, side and rear under spoilers in lieu of black body trim and front and rear skid plates. Aerio completes its sporting stance with a roof spoiler, rear privacy glass and deletion of roof rails. The all-new Swift joins the Suzuki range in September and will be one of the very cleanest in its sector with emissions of just 116g/km and combined fuel consumption of 56.5mpg from its 1.2-litre petrol engine.
In his spare time, Luscombe hangs up his business suit and dons his racing overalls to compete in the British Sidecar Trials with his 19 year-old son; they are currently in second position in this year's championship.
Prior to the Father and Son team, Robin also enjoyed resounding success in British Sidecar Trials and celebrated being thirteen times champion between 1984 and 2004 and second in all other years.
