Suzuki GB is pleased to announce the appointment of six new franchises to the Suzuki dealer network, bringing the total number of dealers to 152.

The six dealerships are opening in Worthing, Queensferry in Flintshire, Dorchester, Manchester, Letchworth and Sittingbourne and are all ideally situated to ensure customers can easily get to their nearest showroom to find out more about Suzuki's stylish and fun to drive product range.

The new additions to the Suzuki network will all be fully operational by early September 2009 and it is a record for the brand to open this number of dealers at the same time. Suzuki offers a wide range of cars including the highly successful Suzuki Swift, SX4 and Grand Vitara models as well as the recently launched Alto which is one of the lowest emitting 5-door petrol cars on sale at just 103g/km with combined fuel economy of 64mpg.

Suzuki also has three other low emission (120g/km or less) vehicles in its range which are very popular as customers look to make cost savings where they can in today's current economic climate.

Commenting on the new openings, Dale Wyatt, General Manager of Dealer Development, Suzuki GB, said: "These significant new additions to the Suzuki network highlight our commitment to the future growth of the business.  By opening six new dealerships nationwide, we are ensuring our showrooms are accessible to our customers and reducing customer drive-time for both sales and aftersales service."
