Suzuki GB PLC is pleased to announce the introduction of its Body and Paint programme. The scheme has been initiated to build a network of approved bodyshops where all vehicles are repaired according to Suzuki recommended repair processes and current industry best practice.
All sites are nominated by Suzuki franchised dealers in the UK upon the adherence to strict criteria demanded by the Japanese manufacturer. In addition, Suzuki OEM replacement parts will be promoted, avoiding the risk of invalidating a vehicle's warranty, and only Suzuki GB selected paint brands, namely Akzo Sikkens, Glasurit, RM, or Standox, employed at Suzuki production facilities, have been approved.
Whilst the new programme will bring extensive benefits to vehicle owners, Suzuki franchise outlets will equally be able to build on their relationships with customers, generate additional sales leads, and further promote the importance and use of OEM-approved parts.
The Body and Paint programme will be operational in early April 2009 following the completion of assessments by Suzuki and will be rolled out to 122 Approved Bodyshops in total. The scheme is supported by the Oxford Automotive Group, aftermarket specialists who bring extensive body repair experience.
Commenting on the introduction of the new programme, Denis Houston, Director of Aftersales for Suzuki GB explains: "We recognised the importance of unveiling the Body and Paint programme to ensure stricter quality control within the repair network, and to be able to maintain and continually offer the best service possible to the customer. In the future, the scheme will enable a closer relationship between dealers, repairers and motorists which is of great benefit to all parties."
