The Suzuki Alto SZ city car is now available for £5,995 until the 30th September 2012, which currently makes it the UK’s cheapest car.
The Alto SZ only emits 99g/km of CO2 with the manual gearbox which means Zero VED (Car Tax) and you do not have to pay the London congestion charge (subject to registering the car). This is equal to a cost saving of £2,600 to a commuter travelling into the centre of London five days a week.
The recently revised Alto now has Dual VVT (Variable Valve Timing) which means greater engine flexibility, response and better fuel economy. The petrol engine achieves a maximum torque of 90Nm/66lbft at 3,400 rpm with an official combined fuel consumption of 65.7mpg.
