Suzuki has launched a national oil partnership with Castrol Professional. The partnership, launched 1st July 2011, sees Suzuki only recommend Castrol Professional lubricants to UK customers for improved fuel economy, emissions and engine performance.
As part of the partnership, Suzuki will produce a range of co-branded point of sale materials for the recommendation.
A YouGov Omnibus survey which was conducted in March 2011, 60 per cent of motorists visiting franchised workshops consider their car manufacturer's recommendation as one of their first criteria when selecting oil.
"Suzuki is committed to helping its dealers’ in improving the service they deliver to customers," commented James Richardson, General Manager - Service, Suzuki GB. "Castrol Professional lubricants are technically advanced and will resonate as a strong brand with our customers".
Nigel Head, Castrol Franchised Workshop and OEM Marketing Manager - UK & Ireland, explains: "We've worked incredibly hard with Suzuki to gain their sole and exclusive recommendation and to tailor a business development programme to meet their needs. We look forward to working with Suzuki and its network in achieving our goals of delivering first class service - and lubricants - to their customers."
