Subaru has unveiled a striking new addition to its range of rally-bred all-wheel drive Imprezas - the 2.0 GX Sport, which is available for less than £200 per month, thanks to a unique finance package from Subaru (UK) Limited.
Available in metallic Premium Silver, Blue/Black Mica and Dark Blue Mica, the saloon-only GX Sport features striking twin circular Morette headlights with colour-keyed housings and a high-rise rear spoiler – free of charge.
Furthermore, its unique symmetrical all-wheel drive system and low-slung horizontally opposed 125PS ‘boxer’ engine, means the GX Sport boasts the same rally-bred DNA that has seen Subaru give Britain its only two World Rally champions – Colin McRae and reigning champion Richard Burns.
Like the standard 2.0 litre Impreza GX on which it is based, the GX Sport’s standard features include anti-lock brakes, alloy wheels and dinner plate-sized front fog lamps. Further standard features include air-conditioning, a CD-player, sports seats and four electric windows.
At £16,000, the GX Sport is just £250 more on-the-road than the standard GX model, meaning the only ‘extra’ the customer pays for is the metallic paint.
Furthermore, Subaru’s special finance package makes it even more affordable, with monthly payments of just £199.99 a month, based on a deposit of £4,800 and final payment of £5,545 (*conditions apply).
Managing Director of Subaru (UK) Limited, Sam Burton, said: "The Impreza is an icon among rally fans and driving enthusiasts the world over. The introduction of the GX Sport provides one of the most affordable and insurance-friendly ways for drivers to ‘live’ that rally dream."
