Subaru Levorg Prices and Specifications (MY-2016)

The new Subaru Levorg Sports Tourer goes on sale in September priced from £27,495, following on from its Japanese launch.

The Levorg is the replacement for the Legacy Tourer model, it is available in one trim (GT spec) - one engine (a 1.6-litre Direct Injection Turbo Boxer petrol engine) and will feature Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system.

Although smaller there is more room than the Legacy Tourer with improved leg, head and shoulder room. The boot can accommodate 522 litres of cargo with the seats up, which increases to 1,446 litres with the rear seats down.

The 1.6-litre DIT unit is mated to Subaru's Lineartronic (CVT) transmission; there is no diesel or manual options at launch.� The new four cylinder engine produces as much power as Subaru's 2.5 aspirated Boxer unit outputting 170 PS with 250 Nm of torque on tap. Performance figures see a 0-62 mph time of 8.9 seconds whilst returning 40 mpg on the combined cycle with emissions of 164 g/km.

You can select steering response via SI Drive (Subaru Intelligent Drive) which offers two modes, Intelligent mode and Sport mode.  It also comes with Active Torque Vectoring (ATV) that brakes the inside wheels under cornering allowing greater torque to the outside of the car, which in turn reduces understeer and oversteer to improve cornering safety and performance.

Standard safety equipment includes Subaru Rear Vehicle Detection� system (SRVD), that includes Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, which detects vehicles passing behind when reversing out of a parking space.

Standard equipment on the Levorg Sports Tourer includes a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment and navigation system with Subaru STARLINK connectivity with dual-zone air-conditioning, auto on-off LED headlamps, dual-zone air-conditioning and keyless entry and start.
