Subaru Forester Prices and Specifications MY-2016

The Subaru Forester has been updated for 2016 with exterior and interior make over. Prices remain the same across the range with the 2016 entry level 2.0i XE model priced from £25,495.

The exterior sees a new hexagonal grille with a new motif mesh and the front bumper has been revised featuring L-shaped chrome trim. At the rear there are new LED combination lights.

There are now LED headlamps with a new adaptive front lighting system that tracks the road ahead as you corner.

The interior has been upgraded with new soft touch materials with piano black and metallic trim. The TFT display has been revised to a new 7” touchscreen interface with improved resolution.

Sound deadening has been improved with thicker door and quarter light glass with upgraded seals around the windows. And additional soundproofing material has been added around the dashboard and front passenger foot well.

Even the suspension has been reworked to improve comfort and steering ratios have been modified to ensure better steering inputs.

There is a choice of three 2.0-litre engines, 147PS 2.0D turbo-diesel, 150PS 2.0i natural aspirated petrol and a 241PS direct injection turbo-charged petrol with CVT transmission. The 147PS diesel and 150PS petrol come with six-speed manual transmissions with the option of CVT should you prefer.

And of course all models feature Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive system as standard with the warranty extending to five years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.
