Subaru and Isuzu's plan to increase dealer development continues to move forward with the appointment of Derek Slack Motors Ltd, Middlesbrough.
Established in 1973 and based on a 3-acre site adjacent to the A66 dual carriageway in Middlesbrough, the family-owned dealership employs more than 30 staff with a new purpose-built showroom for Subaru and Isuzu vehicles recently completed.
Tony Slack, Dealer Principal, said: "We are delighted to add the Subaru and Isuzu franchises to our business and we are convinced that by securing these two great brands we are investing in a successful future. The introduction of Subaru's Boxer Diesel range, together with Isuzu's extended Rodeo family, gives us the opportunity to return to both business and commercial vehicle markets."
Paul Tunnicliffe, Managing Director, Subaru and Isuzu (UK) Ltd said: "We will only be making a few new appointments in 2009, and Derek Slack Motors fits in perfectly, not only from a key location point of view but as one of our new generation of dealers. For our continued growth and development, it is vital that we have the right people with the right skills in our dealer network."
