Skoda has launched a limited edition Skoda Yeti, called the Yeti Urban. Based on the specification of the SE trim - Yeti Urban carries up to £2,450 worth of extra equipment at no extra cost.
The Skoda Yeti Urban is only available with two-wheel-drive and manual transmission. There is a choice of two engines. The petrol option is a 1.2-litre TSI 105PS unit, which offers fuel economy of 44.1mpg (combined/according to Skoda) and CO2 emissions of 149g/km. The diesel is the 2.0-litre TDI CR 110PS DPF unit, which offers figures of 52.3mpg (combined/Skoda’s figures) and CO2 emissions of 140g/km.
The Yeti Urban is based on the SE but also is fitted with a DAB radio, Amundsen+ satellite navigation, Bluetooth connectivity and a multi-function steering wheel to control the audio system and telephone.
On the outside there are 17-inch black-and-chrome 'Matterhorn' alloys, wheel arch extensions, chrome side strips, silver door mirror caps, silver roof rails and roof stripes.
The paint options are Black Magic pearl effect, Candy White, Brilliant Silver metallic and Steel Grey metallic – with metallic paint being a no-cost option.
Inside there is a choice of red or black sports seats and sunset glass in the rear.
If you want one they are limited to only 750 units in the UK - The Skoda Yeti Urban goes on sale from the beginning of April 2012, priced at £16,900 for the petrol model and £18,330 for the diesel.
