Skoda has announced the introduction of a 1.6 TDI CR 105bhp engine to its multi-award winning Skoda Superb range.
The engine offers improved driveability, fuel consumption and CO2 over the 1.9 TDI PD unit which it replaces. Combined mpg has been improved by an impressive 6.9mpg for the Skoda Superb Hatch, and 5.6mpg for the Skoda Superb Estate while emissions have been reduced by a remarkable 19g/km and 20g/km respectively.
With prices starting at just £17,480 the Skoda Superb offers the same great value for money as every Skoda. However, it's not just the great value that sets it apart from its rivals. Its style, practicality and luxurious comfort have won it critical acclaim, including Top Gear Magazine's 'Luxury Car of the Year' and Auto Express' best 'Family Car' and 'Estate Car' of the year.
Available in S and SE trim levels, the 1.6 TDI CR comes with a five speed manual gearbox and is available to order at Skoda retailers from 19th August 2010.Skoda Superb Pricing
