Parkview Skoda in Reading is aiming for success in the fleet sector as it joins the expanding Czech brand.
The opening of the dealership coincides with the recent launch of the eagerly anticipated Skoda Superb. The flagship model is tipped to succeed in the business sales market due to its luxurious interiors, fuel efficiency and low starting price.
Philip Hutchby, Managing Director of Parkview Skoda comments: "The launch of Parkview as a Skoda retailer could not come at a more perfect time.
"The Skoda brand continues to perform strongly in all market sectors and as the new Superb is expected to do very well in the business sector, we feel we are ideally positioned to achieve great things here.
“Also, our location on Bath Road is easily accessible from all directions."
Although Philip is new to Skoda, he was previously Dealer Principal at the same site between 1997 and 2006. He feels that his knowledge of the area will help get the new retailer off to a great start.
"We know Reading and our customers well and as Skoda continues to increase its market share we hope to see our previous clients return to us as a Skoda retailer, and see what great cars Skoda now offer."
The new Superb effortlessly combines cavernous interior space with a striking new design and the latest technology including the unique ‘Twindoor’ function. Twindoor allows the user to have both a hatch and saloon style boot at the touch of a button.
A total of six engines will be available within the full range; three petrol and three diesel including the Greenline model delivering low CO2 emissions and greater fuel efficiency. Customers will have the choice of three trim levels; entry-level S, mid range SE and top of the range Elegance, with the range starting from £15,490RRP on the road.
Parkview Skoda is now open offering access to the full range of new Skodas, all makes servicing, MOT's, parts, trade parts, accessories and merchandising and a massive selection of Skoda Approved Used Cars.
