At this year’s International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt, Skoda Auto will introduce its new sporty version of the Skoda Octavia vRS. Both hatch and estate versions will make their world debut at the show. The Octavia vRS follows in the footsteps of its successful predecessor, featuring an attractive dynamic design and a powerful 2.0 TFSI supercharged direct injection petrol engine, delivering an impressive 200 bhp.
Other novelties introduced at Frankfurt will include Fabia model family cars powered by new 1.4-litre three-cylinder diesel engines producing 70 bhp and 80 bhp respectively. These engines are set to replace the 1.4 TDI PD 75 bhp and 1.9 SDI 64 bhp engines currently on offer, later this year.
