SEAT is celebrating its best ever March in the UK in terms of new car sales and also record market shares for March and the first quarter of 2011.
SEAT saw a record 7,251 new cars last month for a market share of 1.98%, which is an 865 car increase on the same month last year - and that's without the support of the Government's Scrappage Scheme.
SEAT's market share has risen from 1.61% in March 2010 to 1.98% for March this year.
Performance so far this year - 10,471 sales for this year versus 9,582 for this time last year. The brand's year to date market share of 1.88% is another all-time record in the UK.
SEAT's year to date retail sales have risen by more than 35% versus the same period during 2010, whilst the market as a whole is down by 16.5% year to date.
So far this year the firm's total registrations are up by 9.28% while many others have seen their sales for the year to date go into reverse.
