Currently every new SEAT comes with a 3 year/60,000-mile warranty but now purchasers can extend the warranty to 4 or 5 years for an additional fee.
Buyers can extend the warranty to 4 year/75,000 miles or 5 year/90,000 miles with according to SEAT the same cover as the standard 3 year/60,000-mile warranty. There is no limit on the number of claims you can make, no excess, and all repairs are carried out using genuine SEAT parts and by qualified SEAT technicians.
The price of the warranty depends on the SEAT model, but to give you some idea - SEAT Ibiza owners can extend the warranty for £209 for one extra year's cover or £359 for two years, on any variant. Where Leon owners would pay £439 for an extra two years, the extended warranty is transferable to subsequent owners.
SEAT Extended Warranty can be purchased prior to registration on any new SEAT car, from any SEAT dealership. Payments can also be built into the finance package of the car, spreading the cost.
Please check with your local SEAT dealership if you require any further information.
