Renault has confirmed the price for the new Renault Fluence ZE, the third model in its zero emissions family.
The new five seater four door Renault Fluence ZE saloon will be available during 2012, with pre-reservations taking place online. Now, with the confirmed on the road price of £17,850 (after the £5,000 UK Plug-In Car Grant has been deducted), it is the cheapest electric car in the UK.
The Renault Fluence Prime Time model, available to reserve online for £20, comes with 16 inch wheels, climate control, cruise control, ecoMeter and Carminat TomTom Live satellite navigation and charging sockets on both front wings.
The 70kW (95hp) motor provides 226Nm of instant torque providing an enjoyable driving experience. The Renault Fluence ZE has a range of 115 miles, dependent on driving and road conditions.
