Renault has extended the Renault Clio Gordini to include a new 1.6 VVT 128 petrol and 1.5 dCi 106 diesel engine.
The new petrol Renault Clio Gordini borrows the engine from the former GT, offers a 0-62mph time of 9.3 seconds and 42.2mpg on the combined cycle. The Renault Clio Gordini 128 is priced at £14,000 on the road.
The new Renault Clio Gordini with the 1.5 diesel is priced at £14,950 with a fuel consumption of 62.8mpg on the combined cycle with a standard six speed gearbox. Emissions are 110g CO2, is free from road fund licence for the first year, and £20 for the second.
Both models feature the Gordini styling, including two white racing stripes across the bonnet, roof and tailgate, white electric folding mirrors and front bumper strip, Gordini badges, 16" Turini alloy wheels, body colour rear spoiler and twin tailpipe exhausts, alongside body coloured side mouldings and door handles, extra tinted side and rear windows, front fog lights and fixed cornering lights.
The Renault Clio Gordini interior features grey cloth upholstery with Gordini logo (grey or blue leather are optional and blue cloth is available at no extra cost), leather Gordini steering wheel with grey detail and white stripe, Gordini satin chrome effect gearknob with blue Gordini badge and black surround with satin chrome gaiter lever. The centre console, dash and air vent surrounds are finished in gloss black.
Standard equipment includes a 4x20W radio CD with aux input and fingertip remote controls, auto lights and wipers, climate control, cruise control, front curtain airbags and speed limiter.
Upgrades include Carminat TomTom satellite navigation, multi-functional TunePoint or electric panoramic sunroof. Alongside the standard body colour of Glacier White with contrasting anthracite grey Gordini racing stripes, door mirrors and front bumper insert, optional metallic paint is available in Malta Blue, Pearl Black and Ruby Red.
