The Savvy is Proton’s first five door city car to be sold in the UK and with competitive pricing and stylish good looks, it promises to be a great hit.
Available with a 1.2 litre engine and either manual or automated manual transmission, the Savvy will have a new range of vibrant metallic colours to complement the distinctive exterior styling.
The Savvy will have a range of equipment, including radio/CD player, reverse distance sensors and ABS as standard, plus enough space inside to comfortably fit four adults.
The Savvy has a length of 3710 mm, a width of 1643 mm and a height of 1480 mm. There is plenty of interior space - split seats fold all the way forward providing ample boot space. Perfectly flat-folding 50:50 rear seats contribute to 909 litre boot capacity when folded.
The Savvy comes in two different options, the Street, available from just £5,995 on the road and the Savvy Style, from £6,995 on the road. Higher specification Style models offer air conditioning with pollen filter and alloy wheels as additional standard items. Both models have the comprehensive Proton Peace of Mind Warranty Package which includes 3 year/60,000 mile warranty and 3 years’ free RAC cover.
The Savvy Style models will be available from UK Proton dealerships from January 2006, with Street models following close behind in February. Automated manual transmission Style models will also be available from February 2006.
