Proton Jumbuck

Proton’s popular half-tonne pick-up the Jumbuck is now available with a stylish new hard top making the vehicle suitable for all seasons and providing users with extra versatility and security. This new top, which is available from all 90 Proton Jumbuck dealers, will allow the Jumbuck to function like a van as well as a pick-up and further aid the transport of equipment and goods.

The new top, designed and manufactured by specialist manufacturers Hardtops Direct based in Norfolk, has been styled to complement the design of the Jumbuck and is available with or without sliding side windows. A high quality white fibreglass finish and roof rails integrated into the hardtop roof, which can also be fitted with cross bars, maintain the Jumbuck’s smart appearance. The cargo interior headlining protects cargo by reducing the effects of winter condensation. All hard tops can be painted to match the body colour of the Jumbuck.

The new hard top also has a twin tailgate lock which overlaps the original Jumbuck tailgate and provides a secure area for cargo storage. Other features include an interior light in the cargo area and third brake lamp mounted above the rear tailgate to add practicality to the vehicle.

The Jumbuck hard top is easy and quick to install and requires no drilling. Should users not require the van-like function the hardtop can easily be removed leaving an open load area. All hardtops have a one year warranty from Hardtops Direct.

Other products available for the Jumbuck include a soft tonneau cover and a Truckman-made high roof canopy.
