Porsche Winter Tyres and Wheels

A variety of winter wheel and tyre sets have been made available at Porsche dealerships across the UK, specifically designed for added safety and improve performance and practicality during cold weather.

Summer tyres use a rubber compound which stiffens at temperatures under 7 degrees Celsius. Porsche recommends the use of N-rated winter tyres which maintain adhesion and traction at temperatures below 7 degrees.

Tyres with Porsche N ratings are specifically designed for Porsche vehicles, meeting high standards for driving stability, comfort and fuel consumption. They can also offer compatibility with Porsche chassis control systems with no risk of damage to components or wheel clearance problems.

Once the Porsche centre has changed the wheels over to a winter set, summer tyres can be stored by the centre until the spring, when they can be refitted.
