Porsche is offering owners of its open top models a complimentary vehicle inspection on 4th June 2011 at participating Porsche Centres across the UK, to make sure that Porsche convertible owners can enjoy open air driving this summer.
Any age and model Porsche cabriolets are welcome, whether it's a Porsche 356 Speedster, a 1994 968 Cabriolet, or the latest Boxster Spyder or 911 Turbo Cabriolet.
The national Porsche Cabriolet and Roadster Service Clinic not only offers owners a complimentary inspection, but also the opportunity to join the technician in the state of the art workshop at their local Porsche centre. The service clinics will also provide information and advice to ensure the operation of the hood folding mechanism is correct and that the roof remains wind and weather-proof. Further checks will ensure the expected safety, reliability, and performance levels of their cars are maintained.
Each Porsche Centre will also be hosting various activities that are specific to the Centre, including open-topped Porsche showroom displays, cabriolet roof treatment demonstrations, light refreshments, and Le Mans-themed displays.
The Service Clinics are being held one weeks before the famous Le Mans 24 hours race weekend in France to ensure that racing fans will be able to make final preparations before making their way to the race.
Every Porsche Centre offering the Service Clinic will also be hosting a prize draw with the chance to win a 1:43 scale model Porsche 917, hand signed by 1970 Le Mans winner Richard Attwood, two pieces of Porsche Aluframe Luggage and a Porsche Cabriolet Car Care Kit.
