The New Porsche Cayenne Turbo S (2013)

The new Porsche Cayenne Turbo S will go on sale in January 2013 priced from £107,460.

The new Cayenne Turbo S is powered by a 4.8 litre V8 twin-turbocharged petrol engine which outputs 550 hp and delivers 750 Nm of torque. This will propel the Turbo S from 0-62 mph in 4.5 seconds and then on to a top speed of 175 mph. Yet it returns according to Porsche 24.6 mpg on the combined cycle which around the same as the Cayenne Turbo.

The Turbo S is fitted with air suspension and active PASM damping control with Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC). Plus Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) as standard which combines torque vectoring on the rear wheels with an electronically controlled rear differential lock to improve traction. The Sport Chrono package is standard as well.

The exterior features high gloss black  air inlet grilles, headlight housings and mirrors with 21-inch diameter ‘911 Turbo II’ alloy wheels with coloured Porsche centre badges their inside surfaces also painted in high-gloss black which are exclusive to the Cayenne Turbo S.

The interior is available in Black/Carrera Red or Black/Luxor Beige combinations. The bi-colour leather packages that are exclusive for the new top model are extended by adding decorative seams in the contrasting colours Carrera Red and Luxor Beige which is complemented by carbon interior package.

To keep thieves at bay the Cayenne Turbo S is fitted with Porsche’s Vehicle Tracking System (VTS), a vehicle security package approved to Thatcham Category 5 standard, and customers are also able to explore the potential of their new car by participating in a complimentary course at the Porsche Experience Centre, Silverstone.
