The Porsche Boxster GTS has gone sale priced from £52,879 and will arrive at dealers in May 2014.
The Boxster GTS is powered by the flat-six 3.4 litre engine as seen in the ‘S’ model but has been tweaked to deliver more power. It now outputs 330 hp (up 15 hp on the S) with 370 Nm of torque. Acceleration from rest to 62 mph take 4.7 seconds with the optional seven-speed PDK transmission, which is around 0.3 seconds quicker than the ‘S’. With the standard six-speed manual transmission it is capable of 174 mph. Fuel consumption on the combined cycle is 31.4 mpg (34.4 mpg with PDK transmission).
The Boxster GTS is equipped with the Sport Chrono package and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) as standard. You can specify the lowered sports chassis configuration that lowers the ride height by 20 mm.
