The Peugeot 307 CC - Standard Safety Features | Part Three

The New 307 CC

An exclusive and upmarket personality …

Peugeot believes that it’s the detail that makes all the difference.

The 307 CC features an exclusive finish on the steering wheel with its metallic inserts, the instrument panel with 4 chrome-ringed dials on a white background and aluminium foot pedals and gear lever knob. Elsewhere in the car neat and practical touches abound. A central button allows occupants to open and close all four windows simultaneously, a boot that opens by remote control and a radio aerial concealed in the rear spoiler all add a touch of class to the package.

As with other 307 models, the 307 CC can be fitted with the RT3 telematics system, which includes, in addition to a car radio with CD player, GPS satellite navigation and telephone, with associated assistance and emergency call services. The system can be specified with a 7", 16/9 colour screen with cartographic display.

Standard Safety Features Include:

The 307 CC has a rigid structure that ensures protection for all occupants, as testified by the four stars recently obtained in the Euro NCAP classification. In addition, careful consideration has been given to possible rollover situations that are often of concern to cabriolet customers.

Electronic stability program (ESP), emergency braking assistance (EBA), the very latest generation of telescopic roll over bars with electronic roll-over detection, SMART front airbags, head/chest side airbags, four 3-point seat belts (with force limiters at the front), active front head restraints, rear head restraints, fog lamps, LED rear lights and third brake light, automatic activation of hazard warning lights and automatic activation of dipped headlamps.

Standard Comfort Features Include:

Alloy wheels, automatic air conditioning with a temperature controlled glove box, four electric windows with a central control, mono CD car radio, heated electric door mirrors, electrochrome-plated interior mirror, automatic windscreen wipers with rain sensor, height-adjustable front seats, 2-way adjustable leather steering wheel with metallic inserts, instrument panel with four chrome-ringed dials on a white background, aluminium gear lever knob, trip computer, 12V sockets in the passenger compartment, remote-controlled boot with a luggage net and a 12V socket.

Additionally, the 180 bhp version also features 17" alloy wheels, rear parking sensor, electric folding door mirrors, 5 CD multi-player and mixed leather/honeycomb mesh interior trim.

The two standard trim options can also be supplemented by either a "full integral leather" pack consisting of leather seats, fascia panel capping, door edges and armrests lined with leather or ‘simple leather’ can be specified, which does not include the fascia and door trims lined with leather as the "integral leather" pack.

RT3 (radio, telephone, GPS navigation) is also available as an option on all models.
