Peugeot's New Extranet Service Makes Life Easier For Fleet Managers

Peugeot has launched its new fleet extranet site in a bid to ease the time and manpower spent by fleet managers on finding the best vehicles for their company personnel.

The new site enables fleet managers and those responsible for company car purchase to check vehicle information on-line quickly, with minimum fuss and maximum information.

Some of the most useful and innovative aspects of the service will be the ability for fleet managers to access the key cost and car tax information which employees will want to know when making their car choice. Examples of these services are the online funding/contract hire quote, online tax calculator which determines the on the road price, P11D price and also the VED band of each Peugeot car, and an online breakeven mileage calculator to determine whether ‘free fuel’ is a cost effective benefit.

Other services the fleet manager will have access to include the ability to arrange demonstrator vehicles, rental accounts, rental bookings, an appointment with their relevant Peugeot corporate account manager or fleet sales manager, and driver training courses.

Customers will also be able to find out about forthcoming Peugeot product launches, and can e-mail vehicle brochure text to employees interested in a particular model rather than waiting for one to arrive in the post.
