To help customers ‘spring into summer’, Peugeot has announced its latest contract hire rates on both cars and vans to make owning a new Peugeot even easier and affordable.

Prices on the ever popular 206 start at £135 per month for the 1.4 petrol three door S model. Standard features include sport front bumper, body coloured door mirrors and door handles, sports front seats, stereo radio with mono CD player, air conditioning, driver’s and passenger’s airbag, power steering and ABS with Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBFD) and Emergency Brake Assistance (EBA).

The 1.4 litre version produces 75 bhp at 5,500 rpm and 90 lb ft of torque at 2,800 rpm.

Prices start from £165 per month for the 2.0 HDi 90 bhp S three door hatchback. The 307 S has air conditioning as standard, as well as 15" alloy wheels and body coloured bumpers, door mirrors and door handles, remote control radio and CD player, electric front door mirrors and ABS with EBFD and EBA. Safety features include six airbags for driver and passenger as well as front and rear curtain airbags.

The 2.0 HDi engine produces 90 bhp at 4,000 rpm and 154 lb ft of torque at 1,900 rpm.

For customers looking for roof down thrills, the 307 CC 2.0 litre petrol 138 bhp version is available from £229 per month. Complete with Peugeot’s innovative electric folding metal roof the 307 CC has four full size seats, 16" alloy wheels, front fog lamps, cruise control (optional on manual derivative), body coloured exterior and interior aluminium trimming including sports pedals, gearknob and dynamic detailing on the fascia and steering wheel. It is also fitted as standard with ESP/traction control, ABS with EBFD and EBA, four airbags and an automatic roll over protection system.

This 2.0 litre petrol version produces 138 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 143 lb ft of torque at 4,100 rpm.

Rates for Peugeot’s dynamic and stylish 407 start from just £199 a month. With the economical, high performance and tax busting 110bhp HDi diesel engine version, company car drivers will be hard pushed to find a more attractive hire rate. The 110 HDi engine delivers an impressive 110 bhp at 4,000 rpm and 180 lb ft of torque at 1,750 rpm. With a CO2 reading of 145 g/km, the engine is Euro IV compliant and has a combined fuel consumption figure of 51.3 mpg. The price also includes metallic paint, road tax and roadside assistance.

The 110 bhp HDi engine is available with either S and SE trim, and standard features include: cruise control, electric windows, climate control, radio and mono CD changer and front fog lamps. Class-leading safety is also ensured, with standard fitment of SMART airbags for both the driver and passenger, as well as side, curtain and steering column airbags, ABS with EBFD and EBA and ESP with Dynamic Stability Control. Pre-tensioner seatbelts with force limiters are fitted as standard, as is an ultrasonic alarm.

All of the above offers are for a three year contract, limited to 10,000 miles per annum with a six month advance payment, excluding maintenance and VAT.

LCV range

Britain’s van drivers can opt for the perfect van to suit their requirements with the Partner, Expert and Boxer all available at competitive rates.

The Partner 1.9 diesel LX model is available from just £33 a week (£143 a month), the Expert 1.9 diesel from £177 a month and the Boxer 250 SWB 2.0 HDi from just £223 a month.

The Partner comes with power steering, driver’s airbag and central locking, and has a 600 kg payload. The 1.9 diesel engine produces 70 bhp at 4,600 rpm and 94 lb ft of torque at 2,500 rpm.

Peugeot’s ever practical Expert comes with twin side sliding doors, driver airbag and six tie down hooks in the load area. It produces 71 bhp at 4,600 rpm and 170 lb ft of torque at 2,500 rpm.

Those who need an even bigger load lugger need look no further then Peugeot’s Boxer van. It has a large side sliding door, height adjustable steering wheel, facia mounted gearshift, power assisted steering and transponder immobiliser - all as standard. The Boxer 250 SWB 2.0 HDi version produces 85 bhp at 4,000 rpm and 141 lb ft of torque at 1,900 rpm.
