The all-new Peugeot 308 SW is set to be premiered at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and will go on sale in the spring of 2014, priced from around the £16,000 mark for the entry level Access model.
Rivals include the new Seat Leon ST and the Volkswagen Golf Estate.
The new Peugeot 308 SW is 4.58m long (just over 30 cm longer than the Hatchback) and 1.47m tall, with the seats down it has a flat floor and can accommodate upto 610 litres of luggage.
Utilising the ‘Efficient Modular Platform’ (EMP2) the Peugeot 308 SW weighs in a 140 kg lighter than its predecessor that pays dividends with the performance figures, CO2 emissions and fuel economy. There is even a BlueHDi version which emits 85g/km of CO2, setting a new benchmark for this segment.
