Five months before it goes on sale in the UK, the Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 has won its first award being named Best Eco Car of 2011. The new model features Peugeot's advanced diesel electric hybrid technology, with benchmark setting CO2 emissions when it is launched in the Autumn.
Ian Robertson, Editor, Diesel Car Magazine, said: "The 3008 is one of the very best crossovers, and as a diesel-electric hybrid it's an ace combination. The 3008 HYbrid4 is a green-friendly model for the real world that can be refueled within minutes, not hours."
Andrew Didlick, Director of Communications for Peugeot commented: "Peugeot has long paved the way in diesel technology and HYbrid4 is at the fore of automotive technology."
"Having the 3008... being recognised in this manner by Diesel Car Magazine is an honour and one we are all extremely proud of."
