The new Peugeot 208 has scored the maximum five-stars in the latest Euro NCAP safety awards - making the 208 the first car in its segment to do so.
The Peugeot 208 scored - 88% for adult occupant protection, 78% child occupant protection, 61% pedestrian safety and 83% safety assist systems.
Peugeot 208 standard passive and active safety equipment includes: ABS, ESP, six airbags, rear Isofix fixings, speed limiter, front seat belt warning and a collapsible steering column.
The 208 range starts at £9,995 for 3-door VTi 68bhp Access model and raises to £18,495 for the top of the range 1.6 VTi ICE VELVET.The Peugeot 208 goes on sale on the 28th June 2012 but you can place your order with your local Peugeot dealer now
