You can now order the Nissan X-Trail with the 1.6 litre DIG-T 163PS petrol engine, with prices starting at £21,995 - it lowers the entry price for the popular SUV.
The DIG-T 163 engine has proven a popular choice with the buyer's of the smaller QASHAQI and now it should prove to be a hit with X-Trail buyers. The 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine combines performance with economy - -There is start/stop tech and on the combined cycle 45.6mpg (44.1mpg for n-tec and Tekna) are recorded according to NEDC data - where emissions are 145g/km (149g/km for n-tec and Tekna).
�Performance figures equate to a 0-62 mph time of 9.7 seconds and a top speed of 124 mph. There is 163PS of power on tap at 5,600 rpm with 240 Nm of torque between 2 - 4,000 rpm.
The DIG-T 163 engine is only available on all 2WD models with a six-speed manual transmission.
