The new five-door Nissan Pulsar hatchback goes on sale in autumn, priced from £15,995 for the entry level Visia model.
At launch there is the choice of two engines, a 1.2-litre DIG-T (115PS) petrol unit and a 1.5-litre dCi (110PS) diesel engine - both are available with either manual or Xtronic automatic transmissions. A more powerful 1.6-litre (190PS) turbocharged petrol engine will join the line-up early in 2015.
There will be four trim levels, ‘Visia’, ‘Acenta’, ‘n-tec’ and the top of the range ‘Tekna’.
Standard equipment includes 5” colour screen, steering wheel mounted controls, Bluetooth and air conditioning.
Takes the Visia spec and adds Forward Emergency Braking, automatic lights and wipers and i-Key system.
Adds larger 17” alloy wheels, privacy glass and signature LED lights, plus colour reversing camera and NissanConnect 2 system that offers smartphone integration with Google Send-to-Car and a variety of other apps.
The top of the range Tekna spec adds Nissan’s Safety Shield technologies including Forward Emergency Braking, Moving Object Detection, Lane Departure Warning and Blind Spot Warning.
