SNUGTOP should be a familiar name to anyone who has a pick-up. It’s particularly popular with Nissan because the company has been chosen as the sole UK official supplier of hardtops for the new Navara. There are five in the range. And all match Nissan’s high standards of quality, design and value.
The most dramatic SNUGTOP accessory is the XTR hardtop which has been specially adapted for the Navara. The design features a built-in roof rack that incorporates 2" tubular roof bars with a front mounted fairing to smooth airflow over them. The XTR also now includes remote entry. It also includes frameless curved glass windows and a finished edge that blends into the truck bed to give the Navara SUV looks. Other features of the SNUGTOP XTR include "pop-out" windows, an integrated LED third brake light, and a large rear window for improved vision.
The XTR is built to stand up to the abuse pick-ups endure. Important technical features include a one-piece reinforced fibreglass construction as well as a patented method of sealing the cap by means of a special inner lip. Each hardtop is painted to match factory colours using the highly effective DuPont Chromapremier paint process. SNUGTOP also backs each hardtop with a three year structural warranty, as well as a three year paint warranty.
In addition to the XTR, SNUGTOP also offers through Nissan dealers its familiar Cab-Hi models with side windows or solid sides, and the Supersport model. There’s also a new addition to the Navara range called the Hi Liner. This entry-level top is aimed specifically at the working truck with its high level roof, solid sides and white only paint finish.
