Nissan have reduced the price of the all-electric LEAF by £2,500 and are now offering low rate finance on PCP and HP purchase. Nissan has sold around 50,000 LEAF’s worldwide, since its launch in 2011.

Including the government incentive for EV cars you can now purchase a Nissan LEAF for £23,490 or using Nissan’s finance from £239 per month.

Nissan are keen to point out that a battery recharge costs a fraction of the cost of a tank of fuel. Being fully electric, the LEAF also benefits from zero road tax and is currently exempt for company car ‘benefit-in-kind’ tax. The number of public charging points is increasing, including those with rapid chargers that can charge the LEAF from zero to 80% capacity in less than 30 minutes.

Standard equipment includes: satellite navigation system incorporates ‘Carwings’, Nissan’s telematics system which allows an owner to control the heating and air conditioning settings and to monitor the charging process remotely via a smart phone. Plus there is a rear-view parking camera, rapid charge capability, Intelligent Key, LED headlamps and Bluetooth connectivity.
